🐵 Kibale National Park – The Primate Capital of the World

Overview

Kibale National Park is located in western Uganda, near Fort Portal, and is known as the ā€œPrimate Capital of the Worldā€. It protects one of the most beautiful and diverse tropical rainforests in East Africa, covering about 795 square kilometers. The park is famous for its large population of chimpanzees and 13 primate species, making it a must-visit for wildlife lovers and nature enthusiasts.

Kibale is best known for its chimpanzee tracking experience, but the park is also home to:
